Arroyo called on Cayetano to stop hiding behind his parliamentary immunity and face him fair and square.
"Huwag mo nang idamay ang anak ko at kapatid ko. Tayong dalawa na lang ang magharap, kung talagang lalaki ka," Arroyo said.
He urged Cayetano to immediately present proof and witnesses regarding his son Rep. Mikey Arroyo and his brother Rep. Iggy Arroyo who allegedly received jueteng payola.
"It is amazing how Cayetano can stomach coming out with another lie, again without proof, when he has yet to present even a shred of evidence on his earlier falsehood on our familys alleged dollar account in Germany," Arroyo said.
Taking up the cudgels for his son and brother, Mr. Arroyo denied that Mikey and Iggy have received jueteng money from anybody.
"Mr. Cayetanos memory seems to be failing. It seems he has forgotten, or is deliberately forgetting, that Reps. Iggy and Mikey had sued a lady just months ago for claiming that they had jueteng links."
He reminded Cayetano that some of the accusers of the Arroyos who linked them to jueteng have already retracted their statements and admitted that they were just coached to fabricate those lies.
"If you have any balls, go to court. Be a man, if you know what that means, by backing your latest lie with solid evidence and witnesses, immediately. Otherwise, dont be a cry baby who will yell harassment when you get another suit from us," said Mr. Arroyo.
