Palace press corps elects new officers

The 20-year-old Malacañang Press Corps (MPC) has elected its new set of officers for 2006-2007.
Elected MPC president was Paolo Romero (The Philippine Star). Voted vice presidents were Raquel Tobias (NBN-4) for Television; Mia Gonzalez (BusinessMirror) for print; and Marie Peña-Ruiz (PBS-Radyo ng Bayan) for radio.
Jove Francisco of ABC-5 was elected MPC secretary while Rose Miranda of Abante was voted treasurer.
Genalyn Kabiling of the Manila Bulletin was elected auditor. Sam Mediavilla (Manila Times) and Raoul Esperas (dwIZ) were elected MPC sergeants-at-arms. Paolo Romero
