To avoid long queues, check in early PAL

Philippine Airlines (PAL) yesterday advised passengers on domestic flights, especially those leaving Manila, to check in much earlier than usual to avoid the inconvenience of long queues due to the holiday rush.
For the benefit of passengers, PAL announced it would open its check-in counters at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Centennial Terminal 2 as early as 1 a.m. daily to accommodate early customers.
This is four hours ahead of PALs first flights of the day which depart Manila at 5 a.m.
Passengers are normally required to check in at least two hours ahead of their domestic flight, but the extraordinary volume of passengers this Christmas season coupled with the strict security checks has resulted in lengthy lines at the airport.
Accordingly, PAL now requires passengers on domestic flights departing from Manila to check in at least four hours ahead of the published departure time.
