The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the tail end of a cold front is over eastern and southern Luzon while an inter-tropical convergence zone is affecting Mindanao, and these prevailing weather systems may continue to bring rain during the next five to seven days unless they weaken into a "northeasterly wind."
"Eastern and southern Luzon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers becoming widespread rains over the Bicol region. Visayas and Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be mostly cloudy with passing rains," Pagasa said in yesterdays weather forecast.
Based on Pagasas "extended weather outlook," Metro Manila and the cities of Tuguegarao, Laoag, Baguio, Olongapo, Angeles, Tagaytay, Legazpi, Puerto Princesa, Iloilo, Bacolod and Metro Cebu will be under cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms.
The cities of Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga and Metro Davao will definitely have rains, according to Pagasas updated public weather forecast.
