"With the formal lifting of the ban, the Omani government can ensure the continued employment of our Filipino nationals seeking employment in the sultanate," Aguiluz said.
Currently, there are 26,000 Filipinos working in Oman.
Aguiluz is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said in Muscat to take up the intensified bilateral relations between the Philippines and Oman.
