Psychic predicts Poe victory in May race

Amid grim images of election-related violence, psychic Danny Atienza predicts a victory for Koalisyon ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino (KNP) standard-bearer Fernando Poe Jr. come the May 10 elections.
Atienza warned that the coming elections will be bloody, as he warned that two candidates and their supporters would die. The senatorial candidates are seeking reelection and Atienza predicted they would die of illnesses.
One senator seeking a higher electoral post will be the target of an ambush, he said.
"The upcoming elections will not only (be wracked with) havoc, but (it will be) a terrifying one for many Filipinos would lose their lives," Atienza said before a forum at the Ciudad Fernandina in Greenhills.
"There will be many people who will get killed" in election-related violence, Atienza said. "All the candidates want to win. Even the Commission on Elections (Comelec) is being challenged."
According to him, Poe "will be the next president of the country and nobody else," despite recent survey results indicating that President Arroyo has the lead over the KNP presidential bet and four other presidential candidates.
Even if Poes rivals for the presidency resort to poll fraud, Atienza said, Poe is still very likely to win the elections.
If, against the odds, Poe loses his bid for the presidency, Atienza said, the worst case scenario is that the country will go into a state of anarchy. "I can see massive protest rallies attended by millions of people not only at the EDSA Shrine, but also along Roxas Boulevard, as well as other (parts of ) Metro Manila, like Makati (City) and the provinces," Atienza said.
If Poe does win, Atienza said, he sees a fairly stable presidency.
Atienza made his preditions based on his knowledge of psychic arcana and his interpretation of the four elements wind water, fire and earth using his five senses.
Saying he is not a Poe supporter, Atienza said he will cast his vote for former Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Sen. Panfilo Lacson.
He also predicted that former President Fidel Ramos will return to mainstream politics before the year ends.
Besides this, he said, he also sees a military junta and increased activity by the communist movement.
Atienza also predicted that ousted President Joseph Estrada will not be convicted of the plunder and graft charges he faces before the Sandiganbayan, while the President and her husband, First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo, will suffer the same fate as Estrada.
"We should all be very careful," he said. "Terrible things will happen."
Atienza said he became aware of his psychic powers at the age of seven and claims a batting average of 99.99 percent and a 100 percent accuracy rate in predicting who will win the presidency.
According to Atienza, his services as a psychic are most sought after by large, Makati City-based corporations, as well as by politicians.
He said he was able to predict the death of Sen. Renato Cayetano last year, the P55-$1 exchange rate, as well as the rise of ousted President Ferdinand Marcos to power and the coup attempts against the Aquino administration.
For his part, Ginhawang Minimithi Abot-Kamay (GMA) organizer Rey Martinez expressed confidence at the same forum that the President will clobber Poe at the polls.
Martinez said GMA already has over a million members and that recruitment in Metro Manila and the provinces is ongoing.
He said factors in the Presidents favor are her knowledge and experience in governing the country. He and two other guests affiliated with GMA remained silent during the Ciudad Fernandina forum as Atienza revealed his predictions.
The pro-Arroyo speakers said they are more inclined to believe the research done by the survey firms, rather than Atienzas predictions.
