Starting Sept. 1, customers who enjoy their breakfast at Jollibee can get a free copy of The Philippine STAR with every order of a longanisa or corned beef value meal plus a pocket pie of any variant for only P62.

The promo is available in some 90 breakfast-serving branches of the country’s biggest fastfood chain in the Mega Manila area.

Jollibee’s latest treat started as a reading advocacy campaign at Jollibee Aduana Intramuros, which served as the pilot store for the promo. As it turned out, the breakfast deal proved to be an excellent way of promoting Jollibee Aduana’s "Magandang Umaga ng Kaalaman" project, which underscores the value of reading to making better and well-informed decisions, even as it also contributed in no small measure to an improvement in breakfast sales figures of the branch.

With the success of the pilot promo, starting Sept. 1, Jollibee stores in Mega Manila with the breakfast menu are making available the offer of a free copy of Philippine STAR with every order of a longanisa or corned beef value meal plus a pocket pie of any variant.
