In the shows episode yesterday, Kris made her surprise appearance while Korina was interviewing Noynoy and apologized to her brother for the nasty things she said.
Noynoy, who agreed to appear in the show believing his sister will not be in that segment, replied, "Kahit hindi ako madasaling tao, kasama siya lagi sa prayers ko (Even if Im not the prayerful type, shes always included in my prayers)."
Kris thanked her brother for this.
The apology came in the wake of an article by the Philippine Stars Ann Montemar-Oriondo last Aug. 17, where Noynoy said, "The only thing I want is or her (Kris) to be happy."
Kris read the article and was visibly touched. She ackowledged this in her show.
The gesture is well-appreciated, says Noynoy, who is asuming a wait-and-see attitude about it.
"I dont want to do anything that will make her feel uncomforable. I dont want to pressure her. She could be the best guide (on how it will go)," he says.
One thing he is sure of though, is "it (the gesture) is well-appreciated. It opened doors. And the door will always be open. I wont refuse to help her if I can."
What hes looking for is a "road map, a guide" that will teach him where to go after this. As of press time, Noynoy says he has not fully contemplated on what happened, since he still had a string of engagements to attend to.
He says he will take a cue from his dad, the the late senator Ninoy Aquino: "If the time is right, not even a single prophet is necessary. If the time is not right, even a million prophets wont make a difference."
