Yesterday, the President received the credentials of three of them: Anatoli Vladimirovich Nebogatov of the Russian Federation; Dinh Tich of Vietnam; and Karim Ebrahim Al-shakar, who is the Beijing-based ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The ambassadors were feted with military honor rites by the Presidential Security Group (PSG) honor guards and bands equivalent to the treatment given a visiting head of state.
Last Monday, the President also formally received the credentials of Tikhar Hussain Al-kazmi of Pakistan; Lise Favre of the Swiss Confederation; and Saber Abdel Kadel Mansour of Egypt.
They were accompanied by protocol officials of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Palace protocol chief Cecille Rebong. Marichu Villanueva
