STAR editors win NPC seats

Two editors of the STAR Group of Publications won the second and third highest positions in the National Press Club during the NPC elections held Sunday at the clubs headquarters in Intramuros, Manila.
Al Pedroche, editor-in-chief of the Pilipino Star, won the vice presidency while The STAR assistant business editor Roman Floresca will be the new NPC secretary.
The presidency was won by Louie Logarta of Tribune, while Jim Bilasano of the Philippine Broadcasting Service will be the new treasurer. Sanny Galvez of Manila Bulletin was re-elected auditor.
Elected directors were Lolit Rivera-Acosta, Willy Caliwan, Jimmy Cheng, Dennis Fetalino, Mandy Francisco, Mitos Garcia, Delfin Perez, Fred Roxas, Ricardo Valmonte and Amor Virata.
