Malonzo upbeat
Mayor Reynaldo Malonzo said things are looking up for Caloocan City this year with the city embarking on a slew of landmark construction projects.
Malonzo cited the swift passage of the P1.7 billion city government budget last year which would enable them to immediately embark on several projects that will improve the delivery of basic goods and services to city residents.
Malonzo said they are poised to embark on several projects included in his administration's ambitious five year development plan.
Among the projects are the modernization and development of the Poblacion Market along 10th Avenue in Grace Park, the construction of a Hall of Justice at the Caloocan City General Hospital which will, in turn, be transferred to the city's Puericulture Center, The center will also undergo a big renovation program, he said.
Also included in the priority projects was the establishment of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Caloocan.
Malonzo said his administration was determined to push through with the projects which he said will serve as his legacy to the people of Caloocan who had given their trust and confidence on him. --
