Talisay City police relieved over alleged drug links

Some 70 police officers from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion will replace the Talisay City police personnel who were relieved from their posts due to alleged drug links. — The Freeman

Central Visayas regional police director Debold Sinas relieves the whole Talisay City police force over their alleged involvement in illegal drugs as claimed by President Rodrigo Duterte.

A surprise drug test is also conducted.

Only the city police chief, Marlu Conag, was exempted from the relief order. The relieved police officers will undergo a moral recovery program and basic internal security operation course for four to six months. — The Freeman
