The resolution supporting the continued leadership of Senate President Tito Sotto has earned 14 signatures.

Sen. Ping Lacson, who drafted the resolution, says the resolution "solidifies the majority group's support" to Sotto's post.

Lacson praised Sen. Manny Pacquiao, who co-drafted the resolution with him. "It was a brilliant idea," Lacson says in a statement. "When he told us, 'para magkaalaman na" as his reason for the said resolution. I would say, he has achieved his purpose."
