President Rodrigo Duterte congratulates outgoing Armed Forces of the Philippines chief of staff Rey Guerrero for his leadership and the military's role in the rehabilitation of war-ravaged Marawi City.

In a speech during the AFP change-of-command ceremony, Duterte also commends Guerrero for the high number of communist rebels who surrendered during his tour of duty. Guererro relinquishes his post as the military chief to Carlito Galvez.
