Philippine meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions

The Philippine National Railways (PNR), the Philippines’ representative, is hosting the 43rd annual ASEAN Railway CEO’s Conference.

The conference, with theme "Sustainable Solutions for Railway Transportation," opens today and will close on October 20.

The event will showcase the country's flagship 147-kilometer North-South Commuter Railway project, according to PNR General Manager Jeremy Regino. This project, that connects Metro Manila to Clark International Airport, Pampanga and Calamba City Laguna, is eyed to begin partial operations by 2027 and full-scale operations by 2029. — Rosette Adel
