A total of 5.2 million individuals have been affected by the southwest monsoon or habagat enhanced by Typhoon Egay and Falson, accoridng to the latest data of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council on Monday.
PTV also reports that the number of evacuees decreased to12,643. They are temporarily staying in 192 evacuation centers.

Bulacan is now under state of calamity on Tuesday amid the widespread flooding in the province, media reported.
Gov. Daniel Fernando cites “the vast damage the flooding brought to the agriculture, livestock, and infrastructure.”

Ilocos Norte province is now under a "State of Calamity" after the devastating impact of Typhoon Egay.
As of 2 p.m., several municipalities namely Bangui, Dumalneg, Pagudpud, Vintar, Adams, Pasuquin, and Bacarra, are still under Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 4.
The typhoon causes severe flood and left damage to properties, agricultural crops and disruption of livelihood in the province as it also brought in heavy rain and strong winds.
