The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reports that it monitored 1,491 persons or 494 families were affected by Super Typhoon Henry that exited the Philippine area of responsibility on Sunday morning.
One casualty is still up for validation, the situation report also shows.
The government has so far give P244.558 in assistance to affected communities in the Ilocos Region and the Cordillera Administrative Region.
PAGASA downgrades the storm warning signal over Batanes to Signal No. 1 in its 5 p.m. bulletin Saturday as Typhoon Henry (international name: Hinnamnor) moves closer to exiting the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
The center of the eye was last spotted 460 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes. It has maximum sustained winds 150 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 185 kph as it moved northward over the sea east of Taiwan.
PAGASA says Super Typhoon Henry continues to weaken while moving northwestward over the Philippine Sea east northeast of Batanes.
Based on PAGASA's 5 p.m. severe weather bulletin, the center of the eye of Henry was spotted 350 kilometers east northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.
Moving northwestward at 10 kilometers per hour, it has maximum sustained winds of 155 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 190 kph.
PAGASA reports that Super Typhoon Henry weakens further as it starts to move slowly northwestward over the Philippine Sea east northeast of Batanes.
As of 10 a.m., the center of the eye of Henry was located at 365 kilometers east northeast of Itbayat, Batanes. Moving northwestward slowly, Henry has maximum sustained winds of 165 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 205 kph.
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 is now hoisted in Batanes.
PAGASA says Super Typhoon Henry continues to slow down over the Philippine Sea east of Batanes.
The center of the eye was last spotted 395 kilometers east northeast of Basco, Batanes, based on PAGASA's 5 a.m. advisory.
Moving almost stationary, it has maximum sustained winds of 175 kilometers per hour near the gustiness of up to 215 kph.
'Henry' has weakened slightly and has slowed down as it moves south southwestward over the Philippine Sea.
As of PAGASA's 5 p.m. update, the super typhoon was 400 km east northeast of Itbayat, Batanes and moving south southwest at 15 kilometers per hour.
Henry has maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 230 km/h.
