UAAP commissioners pinangalanan na
MANILA, Philippines — Pinangalanan na ng University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) management committee ang magsisilbing commissioners sa basketball competitions ng liga.
Sa pagsisimula ng Season 87, muling kinuha ng UAAP sina Xavy Nunag, Mariana Lopa at Marvin Bienvenida para pamunuan ang UAAP Basketball Commissioners’ Office.
“Our primary objective is to continue raising the standards of amateur basketball,” ani Nunag.
Ito ang ikatlong sunod ni Nunag bilang UAAP Basketball Commissioner habang sina Lopa at Bienvenida ang magiging deputies para bantayan ang women’s at high school basketball tournaments, ayon sa pagkakasunod.
“We aim not just to uphold the quality of play but also to enhance the caliber of our referees. By doing so, we ensure that every game is officiated with the highest standards, contributing to the overall growth of the sport in the country,” dagdag ni Nunag.
Ikinakasa na ng commissioners ang game plan upang matagumpay na maitaguyod ang basketball tournament.
Binibisita ng commissioners ang bawat unibersidad upang kumustahin ang mga ito sa kanilang paghahanda partikular na sa tune-up games at scrimmages.
Magsisimula ang Season 87 sa Setyembre 7.
