Play it again, Sam Milby

Who doesn’t know Sam Milby? From the time he walked into Kuya’s house (and pahabol lang yun!) to the time he left, he sent a lot of hearts fluttering – mine included. After all, he has those boy-next-door, innocent good looks – and he can sing! Now with his new album, and movies and TV shows – plus his face all over EDSA!– only those who have been off the planet for the past year will not have heard of him.

I often run into Sam at ABS-CBN (my new office these days), but we don’t really get to chat so much. So when we decided to feature him for this issue of Kikay Eye, I was… umm… pleased. (I’m trying to learn subtlety.) I discovered that he really is as nice as he looks. He likes to laugh and smile a lot, and in a super-duper good-looking way, he’s almost like a geek (or at least he is for his brand-new movie role) – and I mean that in a good way.

We decided not to change Sam’s style drastically – we wanted to show him as he really is: an overall nice, talented guy who happened to make it big. We just added some pizzazz to his usual jeans, and let his own star quality shine through.
