Aegis to stage 1st concert without Mercy Sunot
MANILA, Philippines — Original Pilipino Music (OPM) band Aegis will have its first concert without former vocalist Mercy Sunot on February 1 and 2 in New Frontier Theater.
Sunot died last November in California after succumbing to cancer.
During the press conference of their "Halik Sa Ulan" concert, vocalist Jen Sunot said that Mercy really wanted to make it to the concert.
Jen said that Mercy wanted them to continue the band even after she is gone.
Ogie Alcasid, Morissette, Jona, Julie Anne San Jose, and many more are the band's special guests during the concert.
Fans can look forward to iconic anthems, such as "Basang-Basa sa Ulan," "Luha," "Sayang na Sayang," and many more, bringing nostalgia and passion to the forefront of this special concert.
