MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-American singer Olivia Rodrigo had a night to remember after winning her first three Grammy awards, though there was one moment backstage she will probably want to forget.

In the press room after the ceremony ended, Rodrigo was having her photo taken as she held her three Grammy trophies — and she dropped one of them, breaking it in half.

Rodrigo won Best New Artist at the 64th Grammy Awards, beating out nine other creatives, including fellow Filipino-American artist Saweetie. She also won Best Pop Vocal Album for "Sour," and Best Pop Solo Performance for her debut single "drivers license."

The singer also performed the single during the ceremony itself while inside a white Mercedes-Benz, and had a viral moment during BTS' performance of "Butter" when V seemingly flirted and whispered into Rodrigo's ear to kick off the chart-topping song.

But that wasn't Rodrigo's only close-up encounter in what was a victorious night as she was seen celebrating with socialite-celebrity Paris Hilton at a private afterparty in Paris Las Vegas, a couple of blocks from the MGM Grand Garden Arena where the 2022 Grammys were held.

Other big winners at this year's Grammys were Jon Batiste, who won five awards, including Album of the Year, and Silk Sonic — composed of Anderson .Paak and another Filipino-American artist Bruno Mars — as they swept the four categories the duo was nominated in.
