MANILA, Philippines — We can finally expect new music from Mandy Moore soon.

The actress and singer-songwriter will release her new album titled "In Real Life" on May 13, following her last one "Silver Landings" which came out in March 2020.

Moore shared that her album is a little about introspection and vision, as she pictures what can happen to her life in the future.

"So much of this record came from future-tripping on the next chapter of my life and what it might look like: what parenthood would feel like, how it would change everything, and all the excitement and trepidation that comes with that," she said in the official statement.

"At the same time it was about celebrating and acknowledging where we were at the moment and really trying to be completely present in the everyday — which is maybe the hardest part of the human condition."

The "Cry" singer also announced that she will hit the road in June for a 26-city North American tour, which will be her first in more than 10 years.

She also teased some information about her upcoming album on her Instagram page, sharing that her new album "was a direct response to digging for some creative catharsis during quarantine AND getting ready to become a mother."

"It’s meant to touch on the cliches this next chapter brings- everything makes sense in a new and profound way," she added.

The "This Is Us" star married Dawes rocker Taylor Goldsmith, 36, in 2018, and they welcomed son August Harrison in February 2021.
