MANILA, Philippines- The South Korean boy group B1A4 visits Manila for a one-night concert dubbed “2014 B1A4 Road Trip- Ready?” happening Saturday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
B1A4 is composed by Cnu, Jinyoung, Sandeul, Baro and Gongchan, who are all from South Korea.
On Friday, selected media outfits got to ask a few questions to the group with the help of a translator.
This is the first time the group had a concert tour after their debut in 2011 with their single “O.K.”
“Just like the name of the tour, Road Trip, I feel like we’re on a road trip and just meet fans from different countries,” Sandeul said about the tour.
Cnu then expressed his surprise that “a lot of fans were there when we arrived in the airport.”
“When we arrived at the airport, we hear the chanting of the fans, ‘B1A4,’ at the background. So that really made us excited to be here,” Gongchan adds.
Manila is just one of the Asian countries that the group will visit for their concert tour.
They’ve included the Philippines in their list because “in Korea, we have a lot of international fans and we got a lot of fans from the Philippines asking us to have a show in the Philippines. So when we had the chance, we wanted to come here,” Gongchan said.
Cnu then thanked their Filipino fans saying, “even Philippines is far from Korea, a lot of fans are giving their support and even waited in the airport. We are feeling very, very grateful.”
