Rock on all night long at 'Bazooka Rocks 2014'
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines' first indoor music festival, BAZOOKA ROCKS blasts off to two days of epic proportions.
Joining the festival are international bands like Senses Fail, Coldrain, Saves The Day, Echosmith, The Summer Set, We Are The In Crowd, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, and You Me At Six on August 30 and 31 at the SMX Convention Center.
Supporting the third annual music festival are local acts, Chicosci, Ria Bautista, Gracenote, Paranoid City, Tiger Pussy, Brickcity, Runway Crimes, and Nyctinasty.
Bazooka Rocks started with the aim of making the festival experience tailor-made for the Philippines as well as much of Southeast Asia—a region warm and sometimes sweltering, excessively humid and susceptible to torrential rains.
"Hence, our quirky but straight-to-the-point motto is, 'Air-conditioning and shelter from the rain rocks!' Because it does," the festival organizers say.
Now on its third year, Bazooka Rocks has already brought some of the greatest names to thousands and thousands of young people in the Philippines—All Time Low, Mayday Parade, The Pretty Reckless, A Rocket To The Moon, Marianas Trench, The Maine, Forever The Sickest Kids, Anberlin, Tonight Alive, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, We Came As Romans, The Wonder Years, A Skylit Drive, Uchusentai:NOIZ, RadioDriveBy—as well as a host of homegrown talent.
Together with the festival's co-presenters, San Miguel Flavored Beer: the seriously fun beer and Lee: the legendary denim brand since 1889, PULP Live World continues to bring you the best of pop-punk, punk, post-hardcore, metalcore, and rock from all across the globe straight to one stage before one massive pit.
Bazooka Rocks is a holistic approach to the music festival experience that strips it of all the discomfort and inconvenience and adds a huge measure of safety.
It's night time all the time at BAZOOKA ROCKS ... So the light show, the special effects and the glamor are all high pitch throughout the entire experience!
