MANILA, Philippines – Music and fashion comes hand in hand and last June 7 was all about that! Swap held the biggest summer send off with its SWAP Bloc Party: Festival of Colors.
The weather was perfect for a day-long party where SWAPPERs gathered at the Mayflower Parking, Greenfield District, Mandaluyong to celebrate SWAP’s first year in the industry. Music lovers and fashion enthusiasts alike definitely enjoyed the super fun side activities where they got to try some inflatables like the bouncy rocket slide and pillow joust, pose creatively on the velcro wall, and went up in the air with the bungee trampoline. Not to mention the amazing food choices thru the Food Trucks parked inside the venue, plus overflowing drinks from the beer pong booth (for those of age).
DJ Mars Miranda and Marc Naval
Attendees partied all day long with the music of Mike Chan with The Anthems, and enjoyed the set of the young talents from Ateneo, The Cohens. They also got amazing prizes from various sponsors, and of course, SWAP! What is also exciting about the event is that SWAP announced its latest offerings like the new SWAP x MTV Collection and the SWAP DIY!
SWAP DIY is SWAP’s latest feature where anyone can have their own design or photo (hello selfies!) turned into a SWAP Watch! How cool is that! This will be available in their online store www.tomato.ph very soon!
Also, they introduced SWAP’s latest Be The Change partner, the Take the Test Project who helps our friends who have been a victim of HIV. With 10 watches SWAP and the organization provide 10 people access to free HIV Voluntary Counseling and Testing.
The crowd at the concert
Best of all? Of course, guests got a rockin’ good time with bands like Silent Sanctuary, Pedicab and Sandwich! And danced all night long through the beats of The Zombettes, Marlo Naval, Nix Damn P., Marc Naval and Mars Miranda!
