The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines- After two years, Avril Lavigne is back in Manila for another concert tour for her latest self-titled album.

Once again, the Canadian singer was welcomed onstage by a jam-packed Smart-Araneta Coliseum on the night of February 17.

Fans both young and adults screamed as the rock-star princess went up the stage singing “Hello Kitty,” sporting an all-black attire with Hello Kitty ensembles on her tutu skirt.

This was immediately followed by one of her hit songs “Girlfriend” where everyone sing along with her.

The fans jumped up and down all together as the beat of the song “Here’s To Never Growing Up” started playing.

Avril seemed amused with her Filipino fans who would sing along with her songs which made her say, “Manila you are so much fun! Thank you for being here!” then she performed her new single “Hush, Hush.”

She then performed “Let Me Go,” which she said is “a very special song for me.” The crowd went crazy when her husband Chad Kroeger of Nickelback went upstage and performed the song with her.

She then performed her hit songs such as  â€œMy Happy Ending,” “Don’t Tell Me,” “Complicated,” “Skater Boi,” and “Losing Grip.”

Avril also encouraged her fans to sing along “What the Hell” with her. As the crowd sings she said, “That’s right, Manila, it’s your turn to sing to me!” which made the fans’ sing louder.

Before singing  â€œSmile,” Avril thanked all her fans who supported her since the start of her career, “All my fans, Manila, you are the reason why I smile,” she sai

She then capped the night with the song “I’m With You”.
