Seth Fedelin reacts to Breakthrough Performance Award at MMFF 2024
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actor Seth Fedelin revealed that he didn't expect to win the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Breakthrough Performance Award last year.
"That award, I really didn't expect it," Seth said during the recent Star Magic Spotlight press conference.
"It was a delayed reaction — maybe when I got home, that's when I felt it, that's when I held the trophy. So this is how it feels to have your work recognized, to have your talent noticed," he added.
Seth also shared how his family celebrated his win.
"When I got home, Mama and the rest of the family were waiting for me, even though the awards night ended late, because they also wanted to hold the trophy," he said.
"When I arrived, my favorite food was already prepared. We just ate together and reminisced about our past life experiences. I was truly so happy," he added.
Seth and on-screen partner Francine Diaz solidified their status as a love team at the recent MMFF.
"Before 'My Future You' came along, Francine and I would always talk about what we were going to do next, what our next project would be. Francine and I never lost hope. We really waited until 'My Future You' came along," he said.
"While we were shooting it ('My Future You'), we told ourselves, 'This is where people will truly see us'," he added.
