MANILA, Philippines — Barbie Imperial and Jasmine Curtis-Smith lead the cast of the upcoming film "3 Days 2 Nights in Poblacion" by RC Delos Reyes.

Barbie and Jasmine play Charlie and Gabbi, respectively. They are best friends from a provincial town who've grown up and finally reunited in Metro Manila.

To make up for lost time, they decide to spend a weekend in the party streets of Poblacion in Makati, where Gabbi had never been yet.

"Dito mo makilala ang iba't ibang klase ng tao, ng lalaki," Charlie tells Gabbi in a released trailer. "Kilalanin ang makikilala, at tikman ang dapat tikman."

Gabbi reveals her attraction to Javi, played by JM de Guzman, but Charlie quickly shuts the idea down "for her protection."

Tensions rise between the two as they attempt to rekindle their friendship. Secrets from their shared past further complicate what should be a fun weekend in Poblacion.

"Friends, if they are true, alam nila 'yung past and future mo. But not in one night," says the character played by Davao drag queen Lady Morgana.

Also starring in the film written by Jules Katanyag are Kakai Bautista and Mercedes Cabral.

"3 Days 2 Nights in Poblacion" comes out in Philippine cinemas on March 13. — Video from Black Cap Pictures' YouTube channel
