Daniel Craig in Austria for Bond film 'Spectre'
MANILA, Philippines- EON Productions, MGM and Sony Pictures have released official cast images of Daniel Craig, Lea Seydoux and Dave Bautista in the Austrian alps during filming of scenes there for "Spectre," the 24th entry in the James Bond franchise.
Filming took place over the weekend on the cold waters of Lake Altaussee where Craig was seen filming a scene standing alone on a long wooden boat on a lake, surrounded by a snowy forest.
These shots were snapped in Solden, Austria - a place known for its skiing, especially around the Rettenbach glacier. The production is expected to film scenes along the glacier road and tunnel, along with making use of a cable car system.
“Spectre” is directed by Sam Mendes and is set for global release on November 6, 2015. The film also stars Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci and Andrew Scott.
In the film, a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre.
The film will be distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
