MANILA, Philippines-Warner Bros. will retell the story of “Tarzanâ€, adapting the classic tale to the ever changing times.
Jerry Weintraub the man who will be in charge of the film’s production promises that “David Yates and I are going to be using the best of today’s technology in creating this new adventure, and we can’t wait to get started.â€
Dan Fellman, President, Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures says that the planned release of the film in July 2016, will be “a perfect entry for the summer movie season corridor, with a terrific combination of action, adventure, romance and suspense that is sure to appeal to a broad audience.â€
“Tarzan†is a work of Edgar Rice Burroughs, which is a story about a boy who grew up in the jungle and was brought up by animals.
Greg Silverman, President, Creative Development and Worldwide Production of Warner Bros. boasts the great line up of actors that they cast for this upcoming film.
“We have assembled a phenomenal international cast to tell this extraordinary story,†he said referring to the cast.
Alexander Skarsgård will play the role of Tarzan, while Tarzan’s love interest, Jane, will be played by Margot Robbie. Other members of the cast are Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz.
“Tarzan†will be directed by Yates and is slated to be in cinemas on July 1, 2016.
