‘Pacific Rim’ tops Google’s list of most searched film in 2013

MANILA, Philippines- “Pacific Rim” tops Google’s list of most searched films in 2013.

But of course, the minions made sure that  they would  also have the spotlight  as “Despicable Me 2” was the second-most searched movie. that placed second.

Zombies is one of the trend this year, which might be the reason why Brad Pitt’s film “World War Z” made it on the third spot, followed by the horror film “Insidious 2.”

Another zombie film made it to the list , only this version is more “tamed” and has a love story on the side -  Nicholas Hoult’s “Warm Bodies”  on the fifth spot.

This is followed by “Beautiful Creatures”, based on  Kami Garcia’s novel series.

The father-son tandem of Will Smith and Jaden Smith made it on the seventh spot for their film “After Earth,” followed by Bradley Copper and Jennifer Lawrence’s film “Silver Linings.”

The musical film “Pitch Perfect”  takes the ninth spot, followed by animated film  “The Croods.”
