MANILA, Philippines — Korean girl group UNIS is coming to the Philippines for the second time this year for its first fancon.

Record label Universal Records Philippines teased about the girl group's event in Manila in earlier posts. The label later confirmed UNIS' first Philippine fancon was set for October 25 in New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.

"Mark your calendar EverAfters as our favorite 'Gen Z princesses' are set to return here in the Philippines!" the label said, adding that ticketing details would be announced at a later date.

The poster for the fancon also teased for more dates and venues for "more fan opportunities."

Three of the eight members of UNIS have Filipino heritage: Gehlee Dangca, Elisia Parmisano, and Filipino-Korean Jin Hyeonju, who is also the group's leader.

UNIS was formed last year through the reality competition show "Universe Ticket," with Nana, Kotoko, Yunha, Yoona, and Seowon completing the octet.

The group previously visited Manila and Cebu last May for a fan-signing tour promoting the group's first extended play "We UNIS," two months after officially debuting.

UNIS has released the album "Curious," which carries the songs "Datin' Myself," "Poppin," and the eponymous lead single.
