Ahn Hyo Seop files lawsuits vs Han Seo Hee over alleged leaked chats
MANILA, Philippines — Korean actor Ahn Hyo-seop filed several lawsuits, including defamation, against internet personality and former trainee Han Seo-hee following the leak of their alleged conversation.
Screenshots of a Kakaotalk conversation from late last year circulated online, which were allegedly between Hyo-seop and Seo-hee, with the latter supposedly asking the former to spend the night with her in a hotel.
Seo-hee denied accusations she was the one who leaked the screenshot, claiming the conversation was "fabricated."
Last February 7, Kim So-yeon filed complaints for defamation and obscenity offense using communication media at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
Apart from recounting the conversation's content, the complaint mentioned Seo-hee's controversies in the past with drug use and taking advantage of entertainment connections.
Hyo-seop is best known for appearing on the television shows "Business Proposal," "A Time Called You," "Dr. Romantic," "Still 17," "Lovers of the Red Sky," "Abyss" and "My Father Is Strange."
The actor visited the Philippines several times last year, including for his first fan meet and the 2023 Asia Artist Awards.
