MANILA, Philippines — Elisia Parmisano joins her fellow Filipinos Chanty of Lapillus and boy group Hori7on in pursuing her K-pop dreams soon as she is set to debut as a K-pop act.
The 14-year-old secured a spot in the planned eight-member girl group after earning the P mark, the highest ranking in the reality competition show "Universe Ticket."
The group is reportedly going to be under the entertainment company F&F.
Apart from Elisia, another Filipina, Gehlee Dangca, is waiting to earn her spot in the group. Filipino-Korean Jin Hyeon-ju, who is also known as Belle from the K-pop group Cignature, is also hoping to join the group.
In November last year, Sofia Laforteza was reported to be joining HYBE's girl group Katseye through the "The Debut: Dream Academy" talent search. The group is set to debut this year.
Chanty is another Filipino-Argentinian who has successfully debuted under MLD Entertainment's Lapillus. She is formerly a talent of Star Magic and has appeared in several ABS-CBN shows.
Hori7on is a Filipino boy group based in South Korea. The seven-member group was formed through MLD Entertainment and ABS-CBN's 2022 survival reality show "Dream Maker."
