Lapillus, Filipino boy group Hori7on cited at Asia Artist Awards 2023
BULACAN, Philippines — Lapillus and Hori7on were given awards at the ongoing Asia Artist Awards 2023 (AAA) in Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
Lapillus was named as among the AAA Potential honorees along with ATBO, Paul Blanco and Yoon Seonho.
Chanty, the Filipino-Argentinian member of the group, thanked their fans called Lapis and promised more surprises for them in the future.
Their label mate, Hori7on, was among the award recipients of the AAA Focus Award alongside Ahn Dong-gu, Younghoon and Lun8.
Hori7on was emotional and thanked their fans after they received their award. The group is carving their own path after they were formed at the end of the reality show "Dream Maker," produced by their label MLD Entertainment and ABS-CBN.
The Filipino boy group is currently based in South Korea, just like Lapillus.
They also performed their respective songs, with Lapillus singing "Who's Next" and Hori7on dancing to "Six7een."
AAA 2023 is being held for the first time in the Philippines. It names the best in K-pop and K-drama for the year.
Fuss-free streaming of the award ceremony was made possible with PLDT as those who were not able to go to Bulacan were able to watch the show online via the telecoms' wide-reaching connection.
