Park Seo Joon is new global ambassador for wellness brand
MANILA, Philippines — Korean actor Park Seo Joon is the newest global ambassador for IAM Worldwide to help advocate for the health and wellness company's product line.
Company founder and president Allen Marvin Yu Eder said Seo-joon's inclusion was a strategic move to connect with younger audiences. General manager Joanna Mañego confirmed the company's move.
"Having a star like Seo-joon as our ambassador during this crucial phase of expansion is a source of immense pride. His genuine belief in IAM Worldwide's products will undoubtedly encourage more individuals to embrace a healthy lifestyle," said Mañego.
Vice president Aika Lorraine Uy noted how influential Korean pop culture was among Filipinos and that Seo-joon's appeal would encourage Filipino customers.
Seo-joon is best known for the television shows "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" and "Itaewon Class." He also has cameos in "Record of Youth" and the Oscar-winning film "Parasite."
The actor has a packed 2023, having appeared in the films "Dream" and "Concrete Utopia," the latter selected as the South Korean entry at the 2024 Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film.
Seo-joon's upcoming projects include Marvel's "The Marvels" and the Netflix series "Gyeongseong Creature."
