BTS' Jin undergoes successful finger surgery
MANILA, Philippines — BTS member Kim Seok-jin, popularly known as Jin, undergone a successful surgery after injuring his left index finger, Big Hit Music announced on Friday.
In a statement on Weverse, Big Hit Music said that Jin injured his left index finger and damaged his tendons during his daily activities. He was rushed to the emergency room.
“Jin visited the emergency room at a hospital nearby for examination and treatment on Friday, March 18,” the agency said.
“He consulted doctors and was told he required surgery as the tendons in the finger had been partially damaged. He underwent surgery to repair the extensor in his left index finger on the afternoon of Friday, March 18,” it added.
Jin was discharged from hospital on Saturday and will wear a cast “for the time being for stabilization and speedy recover.”
“Jin will focus on rest and treatment to fully recover from the injury and to resume his activities in good health,” the agency added.
