MANILA, Philippines — Actress and “It’s Showtime” host Anne Curtis has become a top Twitter topic on Monday afternoon after she exchanged tweets with Korean star Park Bo Gum again.

“Look who I bumped into in Seoul! Annyeong @BOGUMMY,” Anne said on Twitter, tagging Bo Gum in a picture showing Anne with the actor’s standee.

“Sorry for my late response! When did you come to Korea? Having a good time here? I'm shooting a movie these days. Though the weather's too hot, I hope you can fully enjoy the time while staying in Korea! Thank you for saying hi to me:),” the Korean star replied.

Bo Gum was just in Manila last month for his "Good Day" fan meeting, which Anne hosted at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

“Anne curtis is living her life to the fullest. Gosh super swerte mo ate anne,” an Internet user commented.

“Madam, gusto ko lang sabihin na bihira lang mag-tweet si bogum tas nireplayan ka nya ilang times na LIKE HOW?,” another Twitter user said, pointing out how lucky Anne is for receiving reply from Bo Gum, who rarely posts tweets.

Last April, the two made headlines after Bo Gum replied to Anne’s tweet.

“Reading my script for @BOGUMMY Good Day in Manila. Ang swerte ng mga fan girls na mapipili to re-enact scenes from Encounter!!!!!! WHO ELSE IS EXCITED?!!!!! Just a few more sleeps!” Anne said.

“Hi Anne! Thank you for sparing your time to emcee the 'Good day' in Manila event. Though we cannot meet this time, I hope we'll meet soon again. I'll pray for the Philippines. Take care!” Bo Gum replied.

In 2015, Bo Gum’s role as one of the leads in hit TV series “Reply 1988” had been a vital element to his road to success. The show broke many records and was hailed the highest-rated Korean drama in cable televison history, catapulting Bo Gum to a fast-rising Korean Wave heartthrob.

By 2016, playing his most popular role to date, the Joseon crown prince in historical drama “Love In The Moonlight,” earned him a number of accolades, including Top Excellence at the KBS Drama Awards, Most Popular Actor for Television at the Baeksang Arts Awards, and Outstanding Korean Actor at the Seoul International Awards. This notable portrayal officially cemented Bo Gum’s status as one of Asia’s most versatile actors and skyrocketed him to A-list Hallyu stardom.

Park eventually became the youngest artist to be named Actor of the Year by Gallup Korea and rose to No. 1 on Forbes Magazine’s Korea Power Celebrity list. Global brands voted him Top Celebrity Endorser of 2017 and led to him being Korea’s torchbearer at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
