Anne Curtis exchanges tweets with Korean star Park Bo Gum
MANILA, Philippines — Actress and K-pop fan girl Anne Curtis may have to wait a few more months — instead of a few more sleeps — before she meets popular Korean actor Park Bo Gum, but the actor's tweet might inspire her to wait.
Anne posted a tweet on Wednesday morning, saying that she was reading the script for the fan meet titled, “Good Day in Manila.” The famed actress and TV host was supposed to host Bo Gum's fan meeting originally set on Saturday, April 27.
Reading my script for @BOGUMMY Good Day in Manila. Ang swerte ng mga fan girls na mapipili to re-enact scenes from Encounter!!!!!! ???? WHO ELSE IS EXCITED?!!!!! Just a few more sleeps! @ovationprod

She teased that fans that would be chosen to re-enact scenes from Bo Gum’s latest drama "Encounter," with actress Song Hye Kyo, would be so lucky. "Just a few more sleeps!" she added.
Anne has not made it a secret that she is a huge K-pop fan, often sharing her favorites in her social media accounts.
But hours after Anne posted her fan girl tweet, Bo Gum announced that his fan meeting in Manila has been postponed due to recent earthquake in the country.
“I apologize to all who have been waiting for the event and ask for your kind understanding,” said the actor, who shot to fame through his portrayal of a genius Ba Duk player in the Korean cable series "Reply 1988."

I'd like to inform you that the event in the Philippines scheduled for April 27, Saturday, has now been postponed due to the recent earthquake.
I apologize to all who have been waiting for the event and ask for your kind understanding.
Following the hit series, Park further cemented his Hallyu star status with his portrayal of Crown Prince Lee Yeol in "Moonlight Drawn over the Clouds."
The actor extended his condolences to the victims of the earthquake.
“I’ll pray for the Philippines, and may God’s protection and care always be with all the people in the Philippines,” he added.
Park replied to Anne’s tweet and thanked her for sparing time to be the emcee of his fan meeting.
“Though we cannot meet this time, I hope we’ll meet soon again. I’ll pray for the Philippines. Take care!” the Korean actor also said.
Hi Anne! Thank you for sparing your time to emcee the 'Good day' in Manila event. Though we cannot meet this time, I hope we'll meet soon again. I'll pray for the Philippines. Take care!

The fan meet has been moved to June 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Blossom Entertainment, Park’s agency that also manages fellow Kpop actor Song Joong Ki, also released a separate statement asking for apology and understanding from fans.
“We made this decision because we think the safety of our fans is the most important,” the agency said in a statement sent through ABS-CBN Corporate Communications.
Last January, Park wrapped up his latest drama with Song Hye Kyo, "Encounter." This drama would soon be aired on ABS-CBN.
“Park Bo Gum’s 2019 Asia Tour: May Your Every Day Be A Good Day” live in Manila is produced by ABS-CBN Events and Ovation Productions.
