Fil-Am plays Lindsay Superman

Did you know that Fil-Am Travis Kraft played Lindsay Lohan’s Superman when the two made a fashion pictorial for Harper’s Bazaar magazine? Travis and Lindsay grace the pages of the magazine’s March issue, which is now available in magazine stands worldwide. The concept has Travis playing superheroes in a fashion editorial with Lindsay. When the editors of Harper’s needed Superman, who else could they call but Travis? Travis, with his slick black hair, piercing blue eyes and body of steel, makes the perfect Superman.

The editorial was shot by world-famous European photographer, Peter Lindbergh. Travis also plays four additional heroes besides Superman (the Flash, Captain America, Batman and Spider-Man).

Travis and Lindsay both enjoyed the two-day shoot. Travis says, “Lindsay was fantastic to work with and we had a lot of fun. She has a great sense of humor and we joked around a lot in-between shots. Lindsay is a stunning beauty in person, but of course my type is still the beauty of the Filipina.”

Travis also shot a promo for Friends star Courtney Cox’s new show, Dirt. The promo will air soon on FX Channel. Travis who is busy in Hollywood says he misses the Philippines. “I’m definitely looking forward to visiting when I get a break in my schedule. Manila is my home talaga. Babalik ako.”

Travis has a Filipina mother. But despite his Caucasian looks, he is as Filipino as adobo and lumpia. In fact, he loves to eat both dishes, aside from pancit, pusit and kare kare. Several years ago, Travis came to visit his mother’s country of birth. Travis came to love the Philippines after touring it.

“Filipinos have the most beautiful smile. Whenever I’m away, I always dream of coming back because I just miss the people. They are very friendly and hospitable,” he says.

This is Pilita CD

Pilita Corrales began her recording career in the ‘60s and continues to record in the new millennium, making her career one of the longest in the local music scene. Despite excellent recordings at other times, the ‘60s recordings may be regarded as her best.
