Sandro Muhlach testifies vs 2 alleged rapists

MANILA, Philippines — For the first time, actor Sandro Muhlach testified in court yesterday in the rape case he filed against two independent television contractors.
“We’re one step closer to justice,” Muhlach told reporters after the hearing at the Pasay Regional Trial Court Branch 114.
“I felt so relieved, but the hearing is not over yet. I can achieve justice when I’ve said everything I have to say,” he said.
Muhlach did not finish his testimony due to time constraints.
Judge Elmer Joseph Guerzon scheduled another hearing on March 25.
The actor, son of former child star Niño Muhlach, accused Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz of sexually assaulting him on July 20, 2024.
The trial proceeded after Guerzon dismissed in a Feb. 17 ruling a motion to quash filed by Nones and Cruz, for lack of merit.
Six officers of the National Bureau of Investigation and its Behavioral Science Department attended the hearing, according to Muhlach.
