ENHYPEN marks 4th anniversary with Pinoy fans, gears up for Coachella 2025

K-pop boy band ENHYPEN’s Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki reconnect with Filipino fans through the ‘DES7INED Fun Meet’ at the Araneta Coliseum

K-pop boy band ENHYPEN was filled with gratitude when they celebrated their fourth year as a group with their fans, called ENGENES, in the Philippines. The members hoped to still achieve more milestones as they carry on with their music careers.

For Jungwon, he couldn’t imagine that the septet has come this far since they debuted in 2020. He credited their achievements to ENGENES and the other group members.

“(We reached) these achievements (because of) our ENGENES. And also because our hard-working members are able to make a great team as we are now. But, of course, we have a lot of things that we want to achieve in the future as well. So I hope you stay tuned and look forward to it,” Jungwon expressed through an English translator during a presscon before their fun meet.

They recently staged their Dunkin’ DES7INED Fun Meet at the Araneta Coliseum where the fans reconnected with their forever sevEN — Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki.

They said they were elated to be back here in the country. Jake said, “The weather is amazing. We’re happy to be here with Dunkin’ to do some special with the fans and we have performances prepared today and also fan interactions. So we’re excited.”

ENHYPEN felt that they were “destined” to be in the right place and time in the Philippines for their event.

“From right at the moment we arrived we were able to get love and cheers from the ENGENES,” explained Jungwon. “And we are really happy to be greeted that much and personally I love donuts as snacks. And I think it’s also destiny that I was able to collaborate and work with Dunkin’ for this opportunity and also to be communicating with my fans, ENGENES, on stage and doing the performances. I think that connection will be a destiny as well.”

As brand ambassadors, Ni-Ki told The STAR that they hoped to be remembered as “ambassadors who give happiness to the audience and the consumers.”

“This Dunkin’ fun meet with ENHYPEN is a feast for all the senses, featuring irresistible Dunkin’ delights and a beautiful celebration of the music and bond between the group and their devoted fans,” remarked group product head Lea Nicart.

“We hope that everyone — especially ENGENE, K-pop fans, and Dunkin’ lovers — enjoys this fantastic event and gets to interact with ENHYPEN while indulging in Dunkin’s sweet treats that make life a little brighter every day.”

Moreover, Jake shared that their Romance: Untold -Daydream- repackaged album is the continuation of their second record Romance: Untold. Jake elaborated, “It touches on the basic concept and it’s continuing the story line from the Untold album. But as you know, we put out two new songs Daydream and No Doubt. They’re both something that we haven’t tried before. The style of the songs is very new to us. So it’s very nice. It’s a new challenge to us as a group.”

Through their latest album, they were able to try new types of music. “I think, through this album, we like to open a new vision for new styles in music. Through this album, we’re able to explore more new types of music and it’s a good album in that way,” added Jake.

ENHYPEN is set to perform at the Coachella 2025 along with other artists.

They expressed their gratitude to their fans for supporting them with what they have accomplished in the previous years and asked to continue to do so in the years to come. “And also we have a lot of goals set for the next year,” said Heeseung.

“And we will do our best to accomplish them one by one and step by step. And we actually have Coachella (performance) prepared and we have a lot of big stages prepared for the next coming years as well. So we hope that you could look forward to it so that we could make a good impressions on our ENGENES once again.”
