Metro Manila’s No. 1 most wanted nabbed in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — The No. 1 most wanted fugitive in Metro Manila was arrested in Sta. Mesa, Manila on Friday.

The suspect, alias Renan, was arrested by Special Action Force (SAF) commandos and police officers from other units at his hideout along Victorino Mapa Street in Barangay 601.

The operation, which occurred at around 12:15 a.m., was based on a warrant of arrest issued by a Quezon City court against Renan for murder.

The court refused to grant bail to Renan.

The SAF said the suspect was turned over to the Anti-Kidnapping Group for documentation and further disposition.

The SAF did not disclose other details surrounding Renan’s case.
