BINI leader Jhoanna reunites with 'Nation's Girl Group' in LA

MANILA, Philippines — After missing to perform in KCON LA 2024 with her group, BINI leader Jhoanna is now in Los Angeles, USA to reunite with the "Nation's Girl Group."

ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe posted on his X account a photo of California-based Blooms welcoming Jhoanna in LAX International Airport. 

Jhoanna joined Colet, Maloi, Sheena, Stacey, Gwen, Aiah and Mikha in the afternoon during the meet-and-greet organized by The Filipino Channel as a promotion for "ASAP Natin 'To in California" this Saturday, August 3.

Before Jhoanna arrived, other BINI members performed their latest single "Cherry on Top" in Universal Studios in LA.

ABS-CBN released a statement before BINI's KCON performance announcing that Jhoanna could not join her fellow BINI members due to "unanticipated health issues."

"Rest assured that she is being monitored closely and recovering well," the group's management said in a statement. 

BINI announced that its first concert in Araneta Coliseum has been moved. Originally slated to be staged on October 4, the Grand BINIVerse will now be a two-night affair on November 16 and 17 in Araneta Coliseum.
