MANILA, Philippines — Actress Ivana Alawi has bid farewell to "Batang Quiapo."
In her Instagram account, Ivana said that she is happy to be part of the show.
Deserve ko ba?" she said.
She thanked all the cast and crew of the show, especially her co-star and the show's director, Coco Martin.
“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” had a record online viewership for the second consecutive night this week as the action-packed series confirmed the death of Ivana’s character, Bubbles, in Tuesday's episode that also earned multiple trending topics.
The Coco Martin-led series breached the 600,000 mark for the first time ever as it logged a new all-time high record of 610,927 peak concurrent views on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube.
The episode featured Tanggol (Coco) grieving next to the lifeless body of Bubbles (Ivana), who was mercilessly shot by David (Mccoy De Leon). Prior to the death of Bubbles, Tanggol figured in an all-out gun fight as he tried to hunt down the group that killed Bubbles.
