'Wowowee sa TV5 ???': Willie Revillame photo sparks talks of TV5 return
MANILA, Philippines — The photo of host Willie Revillame visiting TV5 Media Center in Mandaluyong has online users thinking if the host will be returning to TV soon.
Lawyer Buko Dela Cruz posted a photo of him with Revillame and TV executives, Mediaquest and CignalTV President Jane Basas, TV5 President Guido Zaballero and Mediaquest Chief Finance Officer John Andal.
The legal counsel wrote in the caption, "Wowowee sa TV5???"
Revillame's Facebook page for his show "Wowowin" posted a similar photo.
"BREAKING NEWS! Mga Big Boss ng TV5 at si Kuya Wil Willie Revillame nagkita!" read the caption of the photo.
Revillame has been hosting game bearing several iterations and names since 2005's "Wowowee" in ABS-CBN.
After five years, the show went through different names, including "Willing Willie/Will Time Big Time" and "Wowowillie," and was aired on TV5 from 2010 to 2013. In 2015, Revillame again headed a similar show with his brand of hosting on GMA-7 titled "Wowowin" until 2022. This show briefly aired for a year on the beleaguered channel All TV until last year.
