MANILA, Philippines — Liza Soberano's road to Hollywood is well underway with her newest movie "Lisa Frankenstein," and her manager James Reid teased there might be more projects of the same nature headed her way.
James was present at the Philippine premiere of "Lisa Frankenstein" last February 6, showing support for Liza who has been under his Careless label since 2022.

"It was really cool to see Hope — Liza — in a completely different level and setting. If anything, she's doing us really proud," James told members of the media including Philstar.com.
He noted that Liza's been very busy shooting and promoting the film in the United States, pointing out that last year's actors strike delayed the release of some promotional material.
Careless managed to hold a farewell party for Liza before she got into the heavy promotional circuit for "Lisa Frankenstein," he added.
James played coy when asked if Liza had other Hollywood-based projects coming up, only saying with a smile that she indeed had "projects in the pipeline" and 2024 was going to be an exciting year for her.

Also present at the film's Philippine premiere was Liza' long-time partner Enrique Gil, whom James had not seen in a while but appreciated his similar display of support for Liza.
"We're all 100% supporting Liza, I'm glad he came through and I'm excited to see him too," James said.
But when pressed about the status of Liza and Enrique's relationship, James again played coy, "You can ask her!"

After the premiere, James met up with media representatives to share his initial reactions to "Lisa Frankenstein," going as far as calling Liza one of the movie's best assets.
"It was hilarious! Hope was both funny and a really great actress," James shared. "A different type of genre for her that we've ever seen Liza in, and I think she killed it."
James noted Liza had a lot of screentime for someone in a supporting role, expressing his gratitude to director Zelda Williams — herself part-Filipino — for the opportunity to cast her.
