MANILA, Philippines — For Marian Rivera, it is better to focus on the good things than to dwell on the bad things, and among those she said she has learned to do away with as she matured was jealousy.

The actress and her husband, actor Dingdong Dantes were the latest guests on showbiz columnist and vlogger Ogie Diaz's YouTube entertainment show.

The married couple got candid as they shared parenting tips and how they are as husband and wife on Ogie's vlog uploaded yesterday.

One of the questions Diaz asked was if Marian had already "graduated" from getting jealous.

"Parang oo. Simula noong nagka-dalawang anak ako, parang sabi ko nga, minsan nga napag-uusapan namin (Dingdong), 'Ano ba yan, nyemas. Bakit ko ba ginawa 'yan?' 'Yung mga ganong factor. Natatawa na lang ako sa sarili ko 'pag binabalikan ko," Marian admitted while looking at Dingdong who was seated beside her on the couch.

She added, "Sabi ko, 'Oh my God. Eto talaga 'yung mga kabataan talaga. Sabi ko, 'Dad (Dingdong), ano ba itong ginawa ko Pinagtatawanan talaga namin."

'Delete lahat 'yan'

Marian explained that she has learned and grown so much ever since she became a mother. She and Dingdong are parents to Zia, 8, and Ziggy, 4.

"Parang 'yung sa motherhood ko, ang laki nu'ng binigay sa akin na pagbabago ng Panginoon talaga. Ang dami kong dapat i-focus, bakit 'yan? Huwag naman. Ito na lang, pamilya ko," she said.

She quipped about those who were once like her and said there will come a time when they will look back at their past mistakes and wish they had done differently.

Ogie was not able to help but quip, "Alam mo, 'yung mga ginawa mo noong araw, history yan."

Marian laughed and said, "Pwede bang burahin na natin? Nakakahiya."

Ogie remarked that it cannot be undone or unseen on online search sites, which led to all of them laughing.

"Pa-delete lahat 'yan," Marian immediately replied.

She then turned serious to talk about committing mistakes and learning from them.

Ogie commented that Marian had improved a lot.

"Ang laki na nang pinagbago ni Marian. Hindi na siya masyadong mataray," said the showbiz columnist.

It drew laughs from Marian, and she again reiterated that it was because motherhood had changed her.

"Minsan nga nagkwe-kwentuhan kami ng mga kaibigan ko. Alam mo nakakaubos ng energy kung magpo-focus ka sa hinding magandang bagay. Ang daming magagandang bagay na pwede mong i-focus. Etong hindi okay, ba't mo pagtutuunan ng pansin. Binigay na nga lahat ni Lord sa'yo, ito pa rin ang titingnan mo?" Marian said.

There were past issues that alleged that Marian was jealous with several actresses who were linked or worked with Dingdong. — Video from Ogie Diaz YouTube channel
