'Breach of privacy': Bianca Manalo issues statement over alleged affair with Rob Gomez
MANILA, Philippines — Beauty queen-turned-actress Bianca Manalo released a statement after being dragged into the controversy with her "Magandang Dilag" co-star Rob Gomez.
In her Instagram account, Bianca said that she and Rob are just friends and one of the leaked conversations was about the actor just delivering her a Christmas gift.
"Let me clear all the false rumors circulating on the internet," she wrote. “Rob Gomez and I are friends and co-workers. He was going to bring Christmas gifts and I wanted to receive them early before I leave for the airport,” she said.
Bianca added that the screenshot had missing parts of their conversations.
“It is upsetting that our conversations were exposed without my consent, which is a breach of privacy and the cause of so much online bashing,” Bianca said.
“It is obvious that parts of our conversation were deleted to create malicious insinuations," she added.
Bianca said she quickly adddressed the rumors to end it as much as possible.
“Let this controversy end so I can enjoy the rest of my time in Japan with my family,” she said.
“Let us spread love and the truth this holiday season. Merry Christmas, everyone."
