Rob Gomez points out leaker of alleged convos with Herlene Budol, Bianca Manalo

MANILA, Philippines — Actor Rob Gomez issued a statement regarding the viral posts of his alleged conversations with former beauty queens Herlene Budol and Bianca Manalo.

The now-deleted post on Gomez's social media accounts contained screenshots of the actor's supposedly flirtatious exchanges with Budol, Manalo, and at least one other woman.

The posts featured his alleged conversations with Budol, while the supposed exchange with Manalo contained the latter pertaining to a certain "he" in Valenzuela.

The conversation did not reveal who the "he" is. Manalo has been in a relationship with Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, the city's former mayor.

The conversations also mentioned Miss Multinational Philippines 2021 Shaila Rebortera, whom Gomez has a child with and is the person Gomez alleged leaked the screenshots.

In a statement sent to Pep.ph, Gomez said Rebortera obtained his cellphone without his consent. “Please be advised that my phone was taken and used it without my consent on December 20, 2023 from 12:30 a.m. to 4 p.m."

He said that the person "posted pictures [on] social media account pretending that I posted it with the intention of destroying my reputation."

"The videos as shown were among my friends and co-stars who was [sic] trying to cheer me up when I was going through a lot of hurdles in my life," Gomez added.

Rebortera revealed last August that she and Gomez were parents to a daughter named Amelia and accused the actor of abusing her physically and verbally. Gomez had previously claimed that he was single in an interview with Boy Abunda.

This led to Gomez and Rebortera's separation and a now-deleted apology letter from Gomez.

Gomez has since posted on his Facebook account that his phone is still not in his possession. 

Budol posted on X, "Bakit ako nakaladkad." The beauty queen-turned-actress also briefly addressed pregnancy rumors after these surfaced in the leaked conversations.

Manalo has yet to address the issue; she has instead been posting pictures and clips of her family trip to Japan.
